In Praise of Fred Olsen and Braemar

We are going on our third cruise with Fred Olsen having given up on Page and Moy Ocean Majesty. We have done 2 cruises on Braemar in Caribbean and we are going on the Christmas Cruise this year on Braemar. We are going on Balmoral inAugust this year to Norway. All we can say is the Braemar is for us perfect in every way hope the Balmoral will be as good. The only downside was Monarch Airlines which were the worst we had used for sometime, but I think and hope Fred Olsen are now using a different airline.

Thistle Restaurant mainly but sometimes in Palms . Breakfast particularly good.
Entertainment4
Crew show was the best ,Showtime cast especially the dancers were first class,and singer Jess of the crew was a true star.Would be nice to have a bit of classical music now and again.

First time we did excursions but now we do our own thing, try to befriend folks and take a private tax1

Lectures were good and also painting classes, very helpful.

Inside cabin perfectly adequate, we only slept in it!!

How did we come to be talking about flying to Rome!!!? We can't fly to Rome to get to the Caribbean!!The last time we flew to Rome we waited 2 hours at the luggage carousel, we were joining Ocean Majesty( Page & Moy) perhaps they do not have the same pull as Titan Airways.

We had our fist Fred Olsen Cruise on the Braemar around the Caribbean - special cruise for our silver wedding and it was excellent in every way. When we look to cruise now we only look at Fred Olsen Cruises.

Fred Olsen have now terminated their vcontract with Monarch airlines for cruises next year.

we flew from Bristol to Rome in August of this year with Titan Airways. The room and service on board was exceptional and included free drinks served with the meal, (which was very good indeed), plus another free drinks service. A good decision on the part of Fred Olsen

We also flew to Rome in August with Titan Airways from Stansted, absolutely first rate--- could not be improved.
