Beware of upgrades if you have already chosen a cabin that you like! We did this a few years ago on Black Prince "upgrading" from a two berth (bunks) Lido deck outside cabin to a two bedded outside on Main deck. The cabin was more spacious, but the low ceiling, noise and vibration effectively summed up to a downgrade. We've been many times since and always stuck with the Lido deck cabin if offered an upgrade. They are in a great position in the ship, have large picture windows and during the day with the upper bunk folded away have a large and very comfortable sofa which converts to a pullman bed at night.
