Q:
After having a great 1st ever cruise in the eastern med on Fred Olsen's Braemar the shine was somewhat removed when one of our bags got lost between check in at Rome and the carousel at Stansted.
These things happen, true, but Fred Olsen and Titan Airlines could not have cared less or been of less help if they had tried, 3 weeks later still no case and still no idea whre it is. Anyone else had this problem and got any advise on how to find the missing bags?

I too had a suitcase go missing, off BL008 cruise on the Balmoral in May this year. It was lost between check-in at Rome airport and the carousel at Manchester airport (the charter flight was a Thomsonfly plane). After the horrendous wait and check-in at Rome airport i wasn't too surprised, but at Manchester there was a Fred Olsen rep who took all details and i completed a lost luggage form at the airports luggage desk. Four days later i had a phone call to say the case had been found (they didn't say where it had been!) and it was delivered to my home by courier. Whilst the case hadn't been opened, it had been damaged beyond repair. I can only advise to keep on to Stansted airport, Titan airways and Fred olsen. Good luck.
